Spain's Dani Olmo Scores Late Winner Against Albania in Friendly

Olmo's Stunning Goal Seals 2-1 Victory

Albania's Unbeaten Run Ends in Dramatic Fashion

Spain's Dani Olmo struck a magnificent goal in stoppage time to secure a 2-1 victory against Albania in a friendly on Saturday. The match was played at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona, Spain.

Spain took the lead in the 55th minute when Ferran Torres scored his first international goal. However, Albania equalized just seven minutes later through an own goal from Sergio Ramos.

As the match looked set to end in a draw, Olmo produced a moment of brilliance. In the 93rd minute, he received the ball on the left wing and cut inside before unleashing a powerful shot that flew into the top corner.

Olmo's goal sent the Spanish fans into raptures and ensured Spain a morale-boosting victory ahead of their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches.

For Albania, the defeat ended a run of two consecutive draws in competitive matches. They had previously drawn 1-1 with Italy and 2-2 with Croatia in UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying.

Despite the loss, Albania coach Sylvinho will have taken heart from his team's performance against a strong Spanish side. Albania showed that they are a team capable of competing at the international level and will be confident of making a good account of themselves in the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches.
